Sean Woods Rare Books is a new website to showcase Lasting Words Ltd’s beautiful books with an emphasis on rarity and condition. For many years Lasting Words have retailed a wide selection of 19th and 20th century literature, modern first editions, leather bound books, children's books, illustrated books and fine quality gift books.
Lasting Words Limited began trading in 2007. By grasping the opportunity of the modern world of internet book retailing, the business has grown from strength to strength. Throughout the year we can still be seen at more traditional haunts of the PBFA bookfairs, where we offer fine quality books.
Sean Wood Rare Books are a subsidiary of Lasting Words Limited. Both companies have a passion for quality, customer service and rarity whether it is a £20 or a £10,000 book.
Before this, Sean Wood was a collector and dealer and has been retailing books independently since 1995.
Sean Wood
Sean started in the footwear industry when he was 17 as an apprentice shoe designer. Over the years he has developed his shoe making skills and has become a highly qualified Shoe Design Engineer and shoemaker. When not working on his books, Sean spends much of his time working in the footwear fashion industry for many famous retailers in the United Kingdom.
He has been collecting books since a teenager and has a passion for D H Lawrence and other lyrical countryside writers. He still collects and has become an authority on D H Lawrence books.
This expertise, passion and professionalism he has learnt in the fashion industry he now brings to his books.
