Returns

Any item purchased from this website will be subject to the EU Consumer Contracts Regulations, October 2015. These regulations entitles you to return the item purchased within 30 days of receipt.

 If you do so, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery. We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss resulted from unnecessary handling by you.

Books may be returned within ten days of receipt if found to be not as described, providing the books are returned adequately packaged and in the same condition as received.

 In the unlikely event of a purchase proving unsatisfactory, it may be returned, in its original condition, for a full refund. We would ask that you notify us by email of your intention to return within 7 working days of receipt of the parcel.

We  will reimburse you within 14 days of receiving the goods back, or (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned them. The full text of these conditions will be supplied with your order, and is available here at any time on request.

We recommend that all returned books are sent by a tracked and signed for postal service as any losses or damage during transit are the responsibility of the sender. Postage return refunds will be at the same postal price as when shipped.

Please notify us prior to returning any books. Books remain the property of Sean Wood Rare Books and Lasting Words Ltd until payment is received in full.

Any item ordered through our website, catalogue or other means may be returned, subject to our being informed of this intention within 30 working days of receipt if unsatisfactory.

All packages will be shipped via The Royal Mail or DHL or any professional carrier named by the customer or deemed suitable by us.

We accept payment by cash, cheques, PayPal, credit/debit cards via PayPal invoice and bank transfer or any other agreed means. Cheques may be accepted from known customers.

Feel free to browse our stock and make any queries or requests you think necessary; further details of books, more images, valuations and advance across a wide range of fields are available on request.

All standard shipping on purchases made via the shopping cart of this website is free of charge. We may request additional payment in the unusual event that your shipping needs are unusual, require fast shipment or extremely specialised.

All purchases are packed for shipping to a very high standard. I use specially made book boxes and high grade bubble wrap.

All of our books are expertly packed and shipped fully insured. Shipping and insurance is free for all items ordered directly from our website shopping cart.

Items will be sent via standard Royal Mail, or DHL and will require a signature on receipt. If you have a preferred carrier, please let us know. We ship worldwide.

UK delivery times are usually 2 - 5 working days. Delivery times overseas are approximately 7 - 21 working days. Current security measures for the USA may make this longer.

Urgent deliveries can be arranged on an individual basis. We will be happy to supply you with an estimate of costs.

Orders usually shipped within 3 business days.

Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know if extra shipping is required.

All books where possible will be sent in purpose made high quality wrap around cardboard boxes and bubble wrapped.
